About Me

Madeleine R Studio showcases my unique, hand-painted works with soft pastels, watercolor, gouache, acrylic, oil, ink—  mixed media and now, collage. My art is rooted in inspiration from quiet walks, city textures, fleeting light, and the colors of everyday life. Through a dedicated everyday practice, even on the hardest days, I’ve come to trust the vision that unfolds through the act of making. Collage entered my life naturally and gives me a feeling of freedom and fuels my creative journey with so much joy. In rare instances I use premade collage paper but 99% of my collage elements are painted by me, each one inspired by simple yet meaningful moments of my life. I love simplicity.  As I continue on this path, I remain open to wherever creativity may lead. Art has a way of surprising you-opening new doors you did not see before. I know that this journey will evolve, and I will follow it with enthusiasm, gratitude and an open heart.
